“The Walk into a New Era”
Hello, my name is Christine Caine and today I want to talk to you about a global epidemic. There are millions of people around the world in slavery today—more than ever before in human history. Only 1% of them are ever rescued.
What can we do in the face of these daunting numbers? After all, we are each only one person. How much of a difference can one person make? How can one person, in Costa Mesa, California make a difference in someone’s life 8,294 miles away in Bangkok, Thailand?
At A21 we believe in the power of the One. We believe that anyone, no matter where they have come from our what their situation is, can make a difference. One person can make a difference, but get a group of us together, and we will change the world.
That is the mission behind the A21 Walk for Freedom. We are a group of highly motivated, driven individuals striving to see injustices made right in this world. We come from all different walks of life, different professions, different socio-economic statuses and even different nationalities. We break down barriers in order to see real change happen. We come together to show the world what has been happening right under their noses. The world can no longer be blind to the girl on the street corner. Or the man in the orchard. Or the child begging for money. This October 20th, we will join together as a family to make the voices of the
voiceless heard. We will march in hundreds of locations all around the globe from Los Angeles, to Washington D.C., to Paris. We will proclaim the right to freedom throughout the world.
Please join us on October 20th, as we journey forward, with brazen hope that we will change lives. Be a part of the group that sees to it that this generation is the last that will ever see the horrors slavery. Join us as we change the world. Walk with us into a new era, October 20th, 2018.
