“A Little Big Difference”
A21 Launches a New Awareness Campaign Focusing on the Power of the “One”
COSTA MESA, Calif. (January 31, 2018)—On January 4, the nonprofit organization A21 launched the new Can you See Me? campaign. The new awareness campaign focuses on bringing attention to the millions of enslaved people across the globe.
Can You See Me? highlights the global crisis of human trafficking. The focus of the series of PSA videos is the commonality of people who are not free—and how even one person can make a difference. “When a lot of people do a little, it adds up and makes a difference.” the founder of A21, Christine Caine, says.
A21 focuses on the power of the one. One person can make a difference. To take action, visit A21’s website www.a21.org or call the human trafficking hotline to report any suspected trafficking.
The Can You See Me? PSA videos show how frequently the everyday person comes into contact with people who are victims of human trafficking. They show examples such as a girl in the back of a cab, a woman at a nail salon, a man at a car wash and a high schooler getting into a car. These people, which the average person comes into contact with frequently, can be rescued with a single phone call to the A21 hotline.
