Can You See Me? is an awareness campaign by A21 to bring attention to the millions of enslaved people across the globe.

 

Analysis of Key Publics

  1. Donors
    1. Monetary donors, or, people with less time to donate but more financial freedom to do so.
    2. Time donors, or, people with less financial ability to donate but more time to volunteer.
  2. The General Public
    1. Those at risk for trafficking and need tangible resources to keep safe.
    2. Those who come into contact with people who are enslaved and need resources to report trafficking.

 

News Pitch

Can You See Me? is an awareness campaign comprised of a series of PSA videos showing how frequently the everyday person comes into contact with people who are enslaved.

 

Benefit Statement

Millions of people across the globe are enslaved. Can You See Me? brings awareness to this global crisis and shows that anyone is a potential victim of trafficking and anyone can help someone who is currently being trafficked.   

 

Tone of Message

The Can You See Me? campaign should invoke somber emotions with a sense of urgency to act against this crisis.  

 

Intended Outcomes

When people see Can You See Me? materials they should be driven to act, either by donating their time or money to A21 or being more aware of people around them who could be victims.

 

Action Statement

People can take action by either going to http://www.a21.org or by calling their trafficking hotline.

 

Readability Range

A grade level of 6th to 12th grade should be able to read and comprehend the message.
