Let us tell you a story. The story of a young woman named Nicole. Nicole was trafficked and forced into prostitution for seven years before she finally was able to escape from her pimp. Her problems did not go away even after she escaped. “I felt like I was a charity.” she said. “And then, when I met A21, they made me feel like I was one of them. They helped me out.”
On March 22, 2018, we released three #CanYouSeeMe? USA scenario videos to help bring awareness to people like Nicole who are trapped in slavery all around the world. These videos equip the public to be able to identify different types of human trafficking and know where to report it. Together with National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Justice, the nation-wide campaign aims to empower the public through knowledge.
