ACCOMPANYING VIGNETTE
For this project, I updated the existing job descriptions to be engaging and exciting. The purpose of this project was to create appealing descriptions that attract a diverse audience of applicants.
My role in this project was to research cutting-edge methods of job description formation, read existing job descriptions, and then rewrite them.
One of the biggest challenges in rewriting these descriptions is the fact that I know very little about most of the positions that were open. Many of them were not in my wheelhouse and used quite a bit of insider language that I was not familiar with. In order to write compelling descriptions that made sense, I did quite a bit of research into the different functions of each of the roles and what is required to do these jobs well.
This was one of my favorite projects that I was assigned during the internship. It gave me the chance to learn about other roles and what makes someone successful in those roles. It was also very exciting to learn how to strategically write in such a way as to engage the type of person that we would like to apply for the position.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
